Industry
Real Estate
I joined the Landnest Team in April 2024 and functioned in the capacity of a product designer reshaping the website experience.
After it’s launch in 2023 into the real estate market in Nigeria. The stakeholders came to a resolution towards the end of the year on the need for an appealing website for showcasing their products after taking down their previous website due to low turnout. Although, I didn’t get to see the previous website as it has been taken down before I was contacted to take over the project. The company struggled with business visibility particularly on the web in the previous year and needed a website that converts to showcase their products and services to their clients and prospective customers.
The timeline for the project was 12 months and the team that worked together to make it happen consisted of one chief marketing officer, social media team, myself, a full -stack developer from my studio, and a framer developer who joined later.
To better understand how to design the Website, I started by gaining a deep understanding of Landnest’s offerings and intended audience. This helped me grasp the scope of the project and boosted the creativity I needed to convey in my designs and copies. Landnest Homes & Properties which is a B2C platform meaning that they target clients or prospective customers which may belong in the Millennial, Gen-Z group or anyone that can afford real estate properties.
Audience & Offerings

Meet our user - Kemi, a Nigerian that's tech savvy, values real estate investment for personal use and future investment purposes. She needs a user-friendly website to explore Landnest’s products and services. How might we make the Landnest website accessible to hundreds of thousands of real estate investors like her?
After gaining insights on the customer’s needs and identifying the objectives of the project as highlighted in the project brief and researching on it’s audience and offerings. The areas below were set as the centre of focus to be addressed in creating a converting website that conveys Landnest’s goals and help create a seamless experience on the website.
Mobile-First Design
Content-Centered Design
Show Achievements, News & Testimonials
Highlight It’s Offerings (Products & Services)
Maintain Brand Guide and Accessibility
Action-Based Design
For Validation
After gaining more insights on the offerings and the audience, I proceeded to validate concerns their customers might have by collaborating with Landnest’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to uncover and gather their customer’s needs and objectives. Also, I collaborated with Landnest’s social and content manager to create content strategy that’d communicate Landnest’s offerings in an interactive manner.
Exploring the Competitive Market
To further my research, I went ahead to examine competitors like Audacia, Land Republic, Evermark and Veritasi which provided insights on how they drive sales on their website and promote their brand’s vision.
📈 Our goal is to enhance usability and accessibility, making it easier for investors to discover and interact with Landnest’s offerings.
With solid findings, I started creating wireframes of the website from lo-fi and fully prototyped wireframe to an hi-fidelity designs. I did couple of iterations during the wireframe before moving to hi-fi designs. I went through three iterations and made changes where necessary before arriving at the final design.

Here are some shots from the mobile design

Yes, it did! We got impressive feedback from our users and got more leads from the website. However, for more flexibility with the implementation and fast deployment considering other features we intend to add such as whatsapp chat action button. The team resolved to move to framer as we were moving fast at the same time focused on delivering quality. After refinement while following the design pattern, the outcome of the new version was excellent. Take a glance at the new look below.
Due to high customer engagement on the site, the company saw an estimated increase of 40% of new clients thereby leading to more sales income.
The mobile-first design strategy gave users access to information, and helped increase user conversion and reduced bounce rates.
